On the 22nd of May the final of the Copa del Rey will take place at the Vicente Calderón stadium, Madrid, between Barcelona and Sevilla. This will be the final match of the 114th edition of this tournament - an annual football cup competition for Spanish teams.

Founded in 1903, it is the oldest Spanish football tournament and it is an important competition as the winner gains entry to the UEFA Europa League, unless they have already qualified for the UEFA Champions League in the regular Spanish league.

Barcelona is the most successful club in the history of this tournament with 27 titles, They are also the current champions after defeating Athletic Bilbao at the 2015 Copa del Rey Final held at the Camp Nou, their home stadium. Photos: cchana, Brent Flanders
